More to Christmas Vacation
Aside from a Christmas celebration with the whole family, a lot of people also attended reunions. Reunions ranging from class, barkadas, or whatever group we belong.
For 3 consecutive years now, my batchmates, classmates, or schoolmates, had this official "tapok-tapok". Though in the recent years before it, we also do that gathering, but just us, classmates in high school. What is new for 2008 gathering is that we have managed to call out those people from other sections whom we have known and hopefully they also in turn bring along their group to have our reunion. This is us, MOGCHS Cavaliers 1996. By that you can guess how old i am now. :) We may be few, but at least, we are more in attendance than the previous years. Some of the people in the pics have their own family already, and some, well, like me, still single.
The reunion is not about telling the people what we have achieved in our life already, or how many kids each one of us have. *cough* The reunion is about gathering together and feel each others company, reminiscing the past, helping one another, well...getting to know each other again, and last but not the least, getting in touch for the next gathering because it's not a great feeling that we have left somebody behind.
To my batchmates of 1996, hope you will not miss our gathering this year, 2009. December 26, they say. Still here in the City of Golden Friendship. If you do miss it, there will always be next time...hehehe... always remember, "tapok-tapok" is always held on the days in-between Christmas and New Year.
See you around.
