I Am...
THANKFUL...
For the past year, year 2008, there were a lot of things that happened to me. Regardless of whether those things were, bad and good, still i should be thankful it happened. I know it sounds silly, but those things that happened badly? Well, they are our eye-openers which turned out to be good lessons for us.
One thing i should be thankful of is this job that i have. Being a teacher is not an easy task but a fulfilling one. The pay isn't not that much, but these days? Why would i worry of the small pay compared to being unemployed anyway? I've been unemployed for 5 years after my graduation, graduated from an engineering course then took up education units. It wasn't easy being unemployed. I could have been employed but i stayed away from the opportunity to apply in a Call Center.
Another is that, i'm thankful for the opportunity to be able to touch lives. Being a teacher gives me a great setting to be able to do it.
Being able to share my time, effort and talent to others is what i should be thankful too. Having been blessed to live day after day after day.
There are a lot of life's lessons which i learned and be thankful of, especially the ones that i have observed from other people and also to what i have done. All in all, i am thankful to be able to see, to know, to understand that these are all blessings that come to me.
Thank you Lord, for the persons i have known this year. For the many students i have been blessed to share my time and my life with. They are the treasures in which my money can't buy.
Thank you also, for my family and friends for being there always.
And thank you for every thing that i do, and everywhere i go, you were always there.
Thank you for 2008! Looking forward to what's in store for 2009 and i thank you Lord for that.
