Read more...It's been 2 years now since my last post. Damn!
Read more...Oh well! I had been set-upped with a new site too aside from this. Been busy too on other things such as my photos.
Oh well, here's my other site's header...
Hope you visit it too.
Well, yeah!
What's up lately? It's almost 3 months since the last post here. Struggles...struggles...
Well, anyway...what's up with me lately... i've been practicing photography whenever i go out of the house. Take my camera with me and... do that photography thing. My camera is not that good...but i'll take it rather than not having one. Taking any subjects. Finding a medicine for this circumstance i am in. Here's one of the pics i got.
This was a view from "Over View Nature and Culture Park" at Quezon, Bukidnon on one of my recent trips.
I still have a lot of photos, and some of those...i shared on my facebook account and some on my flickr account.
That's about me lately.

It's Christmas season once again. A time for love, gift giving and of course, receiving!
What has been the greatest gift you ever received in your whole life? Was it on your birthday? Or was it on a Valentines day? Or was it during Christmas season?
Let's find out first what is the meaning of "gift." According to www.answers.com, gift is "something that is bestowed voluntarily and without compensation."
I hope that you have got the greatest gift in your life. And if you haven't received that gift yet, I would like you to introduce the greatest gift I received in my life, that gift is not a thing, but a person, and His name is Jesus Christ. He is the reason why we celebrate Christmas. He is already in our midst. He is just waiting for you to receive Him in your life and accept Him as your Lord and Savior.
Happy Christmas season everyone!
I just finished browsing and reading on the Internet. I just came by from one of my favorite but least visited place on the Internet, www.popsci.com . From the name alone, we all know that it will be all about Science and Technology. I've read the topics their from cars, to certain breakthroughs in technology and my favorite topic of all from Science is about our Universe, the World we live in.
I've scanned the recent photographs from Hubble telescope, and the images of the planet Mercury, the recent images of the new observatory out there at the Chilean mountains, and lots more.
More striking to me was the topic about meteorites and asteroids that's gonna hit our planet Earth. Thanks for those hunters out there that serves as our watchers for those celestial bodies (though we know some of those meteorites and asteroids hit our Earth's surface). These hunters are also there to watch out for those big ones. It's like watching those sci-fi movies, huh? But, it is true, it may happen.
So, if you wanna know more about it then, just check that page I'm browsing too. It's educational of course, and a humbling one too.
I didn't regret that i haven't watched that bout live between Mayweather and Marquez. Didn't even bother to feel excited about it. It was a boring fight so to speak. Mayweather was cautious. Marquez, tentative on his moves.
I'd say, it was better too that Marquez gave his all for the fight. Mayweather? he better get somebody his size.
I can still remember the scene that night at the house 8 years ago. My family just had our dinner and while having dinner, we were also watching the news. A breaking news that captured the moments of that eerie scene at New York City. Planes crashing to the Twin Towers, people jumping out of the Twin Towers and more distracting scenes that are still fresh on my memory.
Up to this moment, people cannot forget what happened to that day. I remember one day, months after that tragic day, my mother came up close to Ground Zero. She told me that she was in tears when she got to that place. Even if not related to those victims, but still, as people in this world, we all know that it hurts us to see what had happened to that tragic day.
To the memories of 9/11, let us savor the freedom that we have, and the unity that is called upon us all.
Yesterday when i attended a Youth Jamming, they had this activity. The topic of the activity is about "Friends." It was my sister who facilitated on the topic. One activity was to write something to the people who were around. I wasn't expecting something since i wasn't much of a regular to each of their activity. But, behold, what i was not expecting was really heart-warming and tear-dropping.The ones who wrote these to me are siblings...brother and sister, YanYan and Ayana. They are our pastor's kids.
Adrianne wrote, "Salamat bro[,] libre nimo me mamy". I then recalled one day at a mall, it was lunchtime...lunch break from work, i saw them, him and his mommy, and i was just alone going for my lunch, i asked them to join me for lunch...my treat.
Ayana wrote, "Kuya Jason, I hope we'll see ya more often[.] Tnx for being a part of my growing years[.] -Ayana-"
I would like to say my, "You're welcome to both of you!" You've touched my heart because thank you notes don't come often.
I would like to say my own "Thank You!" to the people who have been with me, for all the things you've done to me, good or bad, joy and pain, in my life...even on your own simple ways. Thank you so much. To God be the glory!
When was the last time that you have been at a loss for words? A time when you can't tell or talk anymore of what you want to say.
Well, it might be that we are in a situation that we have lost someone or something abruptly and what we feel cannot compensate for it anymore? Or it might be during the time of elation, wherein, sometimes we just can utter the word "WOW!" or "amazing!"
Something strange isn't it?
When i looked up on a web dictionary what are the synonyms and antonyms for this word "elated", i found out that... being at loss for words to say...seems that they are at the extreme opposite end of a rod. The website www.answers.com says that, elated is "exultantly proud and joyful; very happy." Its antonym is "depressed, down, sad, sorrowful, and unhappy."
There you are. Just a thought for today.
Weeks ago, outpouring messages of prayer was sent all over for her. My prayer for her that time was just simple. "Lord, if it is Your will. And if it is her time to go, let Your will be done. She has suffered a lot and achieved more, more than any person I have known."
August 1, 2009, Former Philippine President Corazon C. Aquino died.
An icon of democracy. An icon of freedom. A great mother to the country.
I could still remember when i was young, i was still 5 years old then. We lived in a small city, Gingoog City. I remembered running to an open field in a nearby school. Watching the Huey helicopters landing on the ground. I don't know then who was on it. I remember also on that same day, i was watching near a public market, a rally of sorts. Not knowing, that the one speaking was then the newly elected president of my country.
Through these years, she had remained a powerful woman to the eyes of the Filipino people. A source of strength of the Filipino people. Someone looked up to.
While i was watching the necrological ceremony on the TV for her. I was in awe of the things she did to those who were closed to her. Much more even to the lowest in the society like me. I'm in awe to her greatness and her love to the people. I was greatly touched.
Madam President Cory, thank you for giving us the freedom and democracy that we have now in our country. I salute you for accepting the burden of assuming presidency during the time when the Filipinos needed one. If not for your sacrifices, we, the Filipino people could be different from who we are now. Thank you, Madam President. We are proud of you.
Thank God, we are Filipino.
Thank you Lord for giving us a gift, in Madam Cory.

Wee! You've made it!
Congratulations for passing the Nursing Licensure Exam.
Wait, you're name will have some letters tagged with it now! That's right, RN!
And to the others too who have passed, Congratulations!
Yes, it is Michael Jackson.
I couldn't help it. Just a sad aura on my face. It is also hard to sleep. I've been scouring informations around what caused his death, only to be reminded of the person i admired when it comes to music.
I grew up at the time when MJ's career was peaking. I could always hear his music growing up back then and always thrilled to hear those songs. I had watched his movie in Betamax, again and again. Much more when the Internet came, i could watch his songs in video and watch him sing and dance. Watching in awe with the given talent he got.
Though controversies had put down his name, yet it didn't dampen my spirit to still admire the person whom i grown up admiring, in music.
I could still remember during my high school days, around the Second Year. My classmates and i used to go to my classmates house to practice MJ's dance moves. I still cannot forget those moments, and that classmate of mine who is also a big MJ fan.
To MJ, thanks a lot for your music which leads us to have our own memories as well. Thank you for having entertained us, through the countless music that you've left us behind.
One of those music that i liked so much is this.
I'll Be There
You and I must make a pact,
we must bring salvation back
Where there is love,
Ill be there
Ill reach out my hand to you,
Ill have faith in all you do
Just call my name
and Ill be there
Ill be there to comfort you,
Build my world of dreams around you,
Im so glad that I found you
Ill be there with a love thats strong
Ill be your strength,
Ill keep holding on
Let me fill your heart with joy and laughter
Togetherness, well thats all Im after
Whenever you need me,
Ill be there
Ill be there to protect you,
with an unselfish love that respects you
Just call my name and Ill be there
If you should ever find someone new,
I know he'd better be good to you
cause if he doesnt,
Ill be there
Don't you know, baby, yeah yeah
Ill be there, Ill be there,
just call my name,
Ill be there(just look over your shoulders, honey - oo)
Ill be there, Ill be there,
whenever you need me,
Ill be there
Dont you know, baby, yeah yeah
Ill be there, Ill be there,
just call my name, Ill be there...

Today here is a Father's Day! Yet, i had mistakenly told somebody that it was a Father's Day too last week. But anyway, let's just celebrate this month as "The Father's Month", shall we?
Happy Father's Day to all the fathers out there!
To my father, whom i haven't seen for these past six years, Happy Father's Day to you pa! Words cannot express how grateful and thankful we are to you. And to mama as well.
Happy Fathers Day!
Hi! I'm back. Hopefully for long. After that month-long frustration of having interrupted net connection and still frustrated with it. Everyday it comes back, and haunts me always.
Anyways, hope you are all too well. Influenza A(H1N1) and a lot of things had just happened these past months.
Hope things will go well.
It's boxing time once again for Manny Pacquiao. This time it is another foe, Ricky Hatton.
I remember one boxing bout of Manny Pacquiao wherein The Undertaker was part of his entourage. I also remember before the fight of Ricky Hatton and Floyd Mayweather Jr., i saw in WWE, Batista and The Undertaker paying visit to Ricky Hatton in a gym while he was training. Batista and The Undertaker have confidence in Hatton that time. Batista, a Filipino, in blood and heart; The Undertaker, to whom will they side on this time?
Anyway, as for me, i like both fighters. It will be casual business down there in the ring. Both respected each other. Both are great fighters. I wish you two the best this May 2.
Well, i stumbled on a discussion on a certain group just now. I find something interesting in which i want you to take part also. What is this?
How well traveled are you in the Philippines?
Well, i got a grade of B-. Here let me show you.
My Lakbayan grade is B- !
How much of the Philippines have you visited? Find out at Lakbayan!
Created by Eugene Villar.I just read this morning a news about a teenage girl about this. A Verizon bill of US$ 4,756.25 for text messages and about 10,000 text messages sent and received for just one month. A WHAAT?!
A bill of US$ 4,756.25? That is PhP 223,543.75! WHAT THE!!! I mean, how on Earth could i pay that!
How did it happened? Well, that teenage girl sent messages during classes. As a teacher myself, i also had students who do that during class hours.
But well, we have Unlimited Text Services especially to prepaid subscriber. Texting can be good, and not that good too. Sometimes we just have to limit also doing that thing. There is a time for that and time for other things also.
